RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bayer announced an updated label for Temprid, its GIC spray and bed bug product. Its expanded label adds flexibility to outdoor perimeter applications including foliar applications as well as additional use patterns for combating public health pests.
Temprid provides control of over 50 pests, including notoriously hard-to-kill pests like spiders and scorpions, the company says.
“PMPs trust Temprid to work on the toughest jobs,” said David Braness, general insect control (GIC) product manager for Bayer. “The expanded label for Temprid FX allows for more flexible use of Temprid which delivers even more value to our customers.”
Temprid FX adds flexibility for outdoor perimeter pest applications, including non-blooming plants. The label allows use patterns for the following areas and pests:
• Foliar applications – including treatment of established landscape ornamentals that are not in bloom without risk of phytotoxicity.
• Ant management – including applications to shrubs and ornamentals that are not blooming and where ants may find food or forage.
• Treatment of occasional invaders – including treatments on infested trees and shrubs early in the season.
• Management of stinging insects – including treatment of nests and mounds.
