RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bayer Environmental Science announced that Temprid SC Insecticide is now registered and available for use in the state of California.  Temprid is now registered in 48 states with registration pending in New York.

“This increased availability will now allow pest management professionals (PMPs) in California to take advantage of the unsurpassed ant control that Temprid delivers,” says Eric Lentz, general insect control marketing manager for Bayer Environmental Science.  “Temprid helps to reduce callbacks because it eliminates a major food source of ant populations, while at the same time providing effective residual control of perimeter pest in and around structures.”

Temprid’s dual mode of action fuses two long-standing residual insecticides: âeta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid. The result is unsurpassed ant control with quick knockdown and long residual control of more than 50 pests, including ants, spiders, cockroaches and other key perimeter pests. With its broad spectrum control and flexible label, Temprid is specially designed to be used both outdoors and indoors. It can be used in and around buildings and structures, as well as on established landscape ornamentals around residential and commercial properties.

Available as a suspension concentrate, one gallon of the product contains 2 pounds of imidacloprid and 1 pound of âeta-cyfluthrin.  It is packaged in 400 millileter bottles and contains six bottles per case.
