AUSTIN, Texas – Jim Orr, Univar outside sales representative based in Chattanooga, Tenn., was honored recently by the Tennessee Pest Control Association with its Lifetime Achievement Award for Associate to the Pest Control Industry.
The Tennessee Pest Control Association gives one Lifetime Achievement Award per year to an associate member. To be recognized, a person must be nominated by pest control members of the association and voted on by the association. This award can go to any sssociate who is not directly affiliated with a Pest Control Operator or employed by one.
"Jim is the antithesis of what one would consider a successful sales representative in this industry," said Orr's sales manager, Craig Keller. "His quiet, gentle and unassuming manner belies a serious drive and commitment to the industry. His manner is just a cover for a truly driven individual, whose fierce loyalty for his customers and for their continued prosperity is paramount. Jim Orr truly deserves the honor of Lifetime Achievement by the Tennessee Pest Control Association."
The award was presented in February at the Tennessee Pest Control Association's annual "Legislative Day" in Nashville, Tennessee.
