Brisbane, Australia — Termatrac (www.termatrac.com) recently announced the release of a new member of its T3i product line — the T3i Radar Only — designed to specifically detect drywood termites.
The new radar-only model is a slimmed-down version of the existing T3i product, which contains three sensors to help target termites through radar, thermal and moisture. Since drywood termites are only detected by their movement via the Termatrac radar, the T3i –Radar Only has been created to benefit those pest controllers, fumigators and home inspectors who specialize in finding and treating drywood termites, the firm says.
“The T3i – Radar Only was designed as a streamlined tool that focuses only on radar detection and is perfect for pest controllers who may not have a need for all the features of the original T3i,” said Chris Curtis, general manager, Termatrac. “There is also a cost-cutting benefit since this new model provides the capability of only one area of detection, and thus offers a more attractive price point.”
Termatrac is offering an introductory special of the T3i – Radar Only model at a cost of $2,995, a savings of $1,000 of the regular retail price. The product is available from Termatrac directly or from the firm’s distributors: Univar, Target, Agri-Turf, BWI and Residex.
