The process uses online photographs and written descriptions to illustrate basic construction issues and application methods involved with installing the patented, physical barrier against termites. Pest management professional (PMPs) can then take and complete a short, online quiz covering the accreditation material. Successful completion of the accreditation materials qualifies the PMP to purchase Termistops from their normal pest products distributor.
Termistops are physical barriers to termites and are manufactured from high quality stainless steel mesh that termites cannot penetrate. Termistops are recognized by Green Building programs across the United Sates and can contribute large numbers of points to builders as part of the NAHB Green Building Standards.
