MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Terminix is expanding its western footprint with the acquisition of Moxie Pest Control’s Southern California operations.
Moxie’s operations in Southern California post more than $10 million in annual revenues and service more than 20,000 customers.
“Continuing to expand our presence in the western United States is extremely important to us, and we’re very pleased to be bringing one of the most reputable organizations in the area on board with us,” said Tom Brackett, Terminix president and chief operating officer. “The West Coast has been a major growth area for us in recent years, and it will continue to play a vital role in our business strategy moving forward.”
Terminix has experienced substantial growth in 2008, having already acquired 28 pest control companies as of October.
Terminix acquired Moxie Pest Control Operations in Texas in 2004 and 2005, as well as in Georgia in 2006.
