MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Terminix welcomed six pest management companies to the Terminix brand in the first quarter of 2006.
The recent acquisitions include All American Pest Control in Seattle; Dallas-based Las Colinas Termite and Pest Control; Mississippi Termite Control in Richland, Miss.; Oklahoma City’s Safecare Services; Town and Country in Wetumpka, Ala. and Vanguard Pest Control in Tacoma, Wash.
“The response Terminix continues to receive in the acquisitions market reaffirms that we’re doing the right things, the right way,” said Steve Howard, Terminix senior vice president of strategy and business development. “We view mergers as a win-win for everyone involved. Customers get the peace of mind knowing their home is protected by the most respected name in the industry, and company owners rest easy knowing their employees will be welcomed with open arms.”
The new additions, which are spread across five states, will bring more than 6,000 new customers to Terminix.
In the last 18 months, Terminix has acquired more than 40 pest control companies, allowing the industry leader to continue to expand service operations and protect American homes from the threat of pests and termites.
