Terminix has offered to pay $87 million to a Delaware family who was sickened by a pesticide used at a U.S. Virgin Islands resort last year, the company said in its earnings report Thursday.
ServiceMaster Global Holdings, the company that owns Terminix, said in the report the company has reached a “tentative settlement agreement to settle all civil claims of the affected family related to the U.S. Virgin Islands matter.” The company has already paid $3 million of the family’s claims.
