MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Terminix announced today that it has acquired Pointe Pest Control.

Pointe Pest Control is headquartered in Provo, Utah, and has more than 18 operations in 15 states. Founded in 2006, Pointe now posts more than $15 million in annual revenues and services 34,000 customers.

“Pointe Pest Control is highly regarded for providing superior service and a highly trained staff, and these areas are of extreme importance to Terminix in acquiring other pest control companies,” said Tom Brackett, Terminix president and chief operating officer. “We will continue to provide Pointe customers throughout the United States with the same great service they deserve and expect while offering them the benefits of enhanced termite and pest protection that can only come from Terminix.”

Terminix continues to aggressively pursue the acquisition of pest control companies in 2008, having already acquired 30 companies through September.

“This acquisition is a big win for Terminix,” said Brackett. “Pointe customers in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington can rest easy knowing they have an opportunity to have their homes protected by the most trusted brand in the country.”

Terminix has acquired more than 100 pest control companies since the beginning of 2006.
