In advance of the July 22 release of “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!,” Terminix has released a trailer for an equally over-the-top parody, “Mosquitonado,” based on the world’s actual deadliest animal: mosquitoes. Watch it at Mosquitonado.com.
In the outrageous two-minute trailer, swarming bloodsuckers ruin America’s favorite summer holiday – the Fourth of July. Citizens turn to jumbo flyswatters, brass knuckles and dynamite to fight back. Even Sharknado star Tara Reid admits “she’s never seen anything like this” in her cameo.
Although humorous, the trailer was created to raise awareness for National Mosquito Control Awareness Week (June 21-27) and the real damage mosquitoes do around the world. Terminix’s solution to fight bask is its exclusive Attractive Targeted Sugar Bait (ATSB). The active natural ingredient in ATSB in it is garlic oil, which when blended with fruit extracts effectively baits, kills and collapses mosquito swarms. Find more information at Terminix.com.
