COLUMBIA, S.C. — Terminix Service celebrated two Terminix employees recognized at the South Carolina Pest Control Association’s Pest Pro Summit on May 24.
Renee Tucker, Piedmont region administrator, was named the Administrative Professional of the Year. The award recognizes Tucker as the state’s best in customer relations, safety, leadership and community service. Tucker, who has served as a route technician, customer care specialist and region administrator, also holds the honor of Terminix Service 2020 Customer Care Specialist of the Year.
Rion Cobb, vice president of human services, was awarded the inaugural Fred Cliff Distinguished Service Award in recognition of unwavering service, leadership and commitment to the pest control industry. Cobb most recently served as treasurer of the South Carolina Pest Control Association and is the current treasurer of the South Carolina Urban Entomology Charitable Alliance.
“Renee and Rion represent the best of Terminix, and I’m so proud to see them recognized as the best in the industry as well,” said Terminix Service President Scott Fortson. “Both give fully to their roles within the company and also give selflessly to mentor others and enhance the level of professionalism for pest management professionals across the state.”
