COLUMBIA, S.C. — Terminix Service, the largest franchise in the Terminix International system, announced the following promotions and leadership changes. Tom Fortson, who has served for more than 25 years as the president and COO of Terminix Service, will become vice chairman of the board of directors. He will continue to be relied upon for his advice and counsel in major decisions that affect the company’s daily operations and future.
Scott Fortson has been named president and COO of Terminix Service. A 22-year employee of Terminix Service, he previously served as its vice president of operations and as Low Country region manager. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston. He also currently serves as president of the Terminix National Council (TNC) of franchises and is vice president of the South Carolina Pest Control Association.
Trevor Knox has been named vice president of sales and marketing responsible for coordinating sales development within the company, as well as directing the marketing activities of Terminix through various media. He has worked in numerous roles within Terminix including service specialist, region staff assistant and branch manager. He received both his undergraduate degree and his master of business administration from the University of South Carolina.
Rion Cobb has been named vice president of human services, responsible for human resources, payroll, training and technical departments. He has worked as a service specialist in branch operations, as well as associate director of Human Resources for Terminix. He is a cum laude graduate of Wofford College, and he holds a master in divinity from Duke University.
