MEMPHIS - Thanksgiving is just days away, which means that families are getting ready to share not only good food, but good conversation. Unfortunately, sometimes our well-meaning relatives have a way of asking questions that can be… well, pesty. That’s why this year, Terminix wants to give people “The Pest Way Out” of answering.
“The Pest Way Out” offers bug-themed answers to questions about everything from dating to politics, to help spark a different kind of conversation. Here are couple examples
Q: Are you seeing anyone special right now?
A: No, but did you know that most termite colonies have a king and queen that mate for life? Isn’t that so romantic?
Q: I like/dislike the president and think he’s doing a good/terrible job. What do you think?
A: Well, I’m glad we get to elect a president, because in some ant species their Queens are constantly invading and taking over each other's colonies.
You can check out the full list of responses on Terminix’s blog. Terminix also knows that removal can be the best form of pest control, so Terminix is sending one person on a post-Thanksgiving vacation. For a chance to win a gift card that can be used for a vacation, hopefuls can enter here (form closes at midnight (CT) on Thanksgiving day).
