Orlando, Fla. — Pest management professionals will get a virtual tour of the new Orkin Termite Training Facility at the FPMA Termite Symposium on Nov. 30 in Orlando.
While the facility has not yet been released to hold classes on site, Dr. Phil Koehler of the University of Florida will guide attendees on an interactive tour of the facility as part of the one-day program featuring the latest in termite research and tools for detection, treatment and management of Florida Termites.
John Paige III, Ph.D., with Bayer Environmental Science will be on hand to bring practical training directly to pest management professionals at the meeting site with Bayer’s Mobile University.
The program will offer termite continuing education units (CEUs), and attendees will have a chance to talk with peers at the barbeque lunch.
The program site is the new Orange County Extension Education Center in Orlando and overnight accommodations will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando – Airport 407/856-0100.
