HOUSTON, Texas – Termite Watkins Services, announced the acquisition of Protex Pest Control, a long-established provider of pest management services founded in 1978 by Frank and Helen Merryman in Spring, Texas.
“This acquisition is an important step forward in our mission to protect more communities with the reliable, expert care that Termite Watkins Services is known for,” said Bob Howard, director of acquisitions for Termite Watkins Services. “Frank and Helen Merryman have built an incredible legacy, and we are honored to carry it forward.”
Over the last four decades, Protex Pest Control maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, the company noted. The business serves neighborhoods throughout the greater Houston area, from Spring and The Woodlands to Midtown, Bellaire and Kingwood.
“It’s been our life’s work to grow Protex into what it is today," said Frank Merryman. "We’re confident Termite Watkins Services will continue to take great care of our customers and our team.”
The acquisition of Protex Pest Control allows Termite Watkins Services to further strengthen its presence throughout Houston and surrounding communities through its family of brands, including Coastal Fumigators, Termite Watkins Pest and True Care Remodeling.
