Thermacell Introduces LIV Installed Repellent System

Thermacell recently introduced a new line of installed mosquito solutions with the launch of the LIV Installed Repellent System, which provides on demand, mosquito protection customizable for large or small spaces. 

“Customers who love their Thermacell repeller for hunting or fishing will now be thrilled to have Thermacell’s highly effective protection covering their decks or patios for season long mosquito protection,” said Allegra Lowitt, general manager for Professional Markets. 

The metofluthrin formulation used in Thermacell products is highly effective against mosquitoes, the manufacturer reports. Powered by low voltage electricity, each repeller creates a 20-foot zone of protection. Multiple repellers can be connected to cover large spaces like decks, patios, or pools. Long lasting repellent cartridges fit well into a PMP’s service schedule and provide ongoing revenue after system installation.
