A tick could cause sudden meat allergies, according to researchers. The Lone Star tick is now found in through the South and East, with 200 cases being reported from one allergist in New York. The tick carries a sugar found in red meat which causes the immune system to make antibodies, creating the allergy to meat, reported The Montreal Gazette.
