MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Todd Leyse was promoted to president of Adam’s Pest Control on June 16, 2008. Leyse joined Adam’s in 1996. His father, Harold Leyse, co-founded Adam’s.
“Todd quickly earned the respect of the technicians by helping in the field and covering an open night route while still working during the day” said Harold Leyse. “That first year after my partner of 25 years passed away was challenging. I had to refinance my house to keep the business going, but I knew I could trust Todd implicitly and that he’d work as hard as I would.”
Harold Leyse added, “With Todd, my daughter Andrea Guy, and the entire Adam’s ‘family’ helping me, we’ve grown Adam’s to 43 employees and yet maintained that small, family-run company, that is technician focused like I’ve always wanted from day one, back in 1971.”
Todd Leyse has a B.A in computer science and has been vice president since joining Adam’s. “It is time to promote Todd to President and give him the recognition of the effort he has given Adam’s and what that has meant to my wife Janice, and me,” said Harold Leyse.
Todd Leyse is married to Jerri Lynn and has an 11-year-old son, Nolan, a 9-year-old daughter, Madison, and 3-year-old daughter Sheridan. He is active in the community coaching basketball and is president and webmaster of the local basketball association.
What’s in the future for Harold Leyse? By the end of June, Harold will turn 71. He continues to work full time and has no plans to retire, and now serves as Chairman of the Board.
