
Torco Termite and Pest Control
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus-based TORCO Termite and Pest Control announced its acquisition of D/J’s Pest Away of Marion, Ohio. D/J’s is a general termite and pest firm based in Marion, Ohio, with operations throughout North Central Ohio.
The acquisition is the fifth in recent times for the company.
The company was founded by Dan and Judy Fitzpatrick, who grew the business into a market leader in Northern Ohio.
“The merger is a perfect fit for TORCO because it already provides state wide service and will be able to increase density in the northern market,” said John Breen, president of TORCO. “TORCO already operates in central Ohio as well as the Cincinnati and Dayton markets.”
The current management of TORCO are former long term owners of a Terminix franchise that had three generations of family involvement. It is located in Columbus, but operates throughout Ohio. It offers a full range of termite and pest control services, both residential and commercial. It also has offices in Tucson, Ariz.
