The city of Toronto claimed the No. 1 spot for the third year in a row on Orkin Canada’s annual list of the top “bed buggiest” cities in Canada.
Other notable findings: Vancouver rose to the No. 3 spot (from 4), St John's rose to No. 4 (from 6), and Winnipeg dropped substantially, falling to No. 9 (from 5).
The ranking, based on the number of commercial and residential bed bug treatments performed by Orkin Canada in 2021, found that the number of nationwide bed bug sightings last year was similar to the number of sightings in 2020, and remained below pre-pandemic levels.
