Elo worked in the family business, Elo Pest Control, and he later started the Sears Pest Control Company, where he served as president. In addition, he served on the Board of the San Antonio Pest Control Association from 1959 to 1987, the Texas Pest Control Association Board from 1966 to 1972, the National Pest Control Association Board from 1969 to 1979 and was appointed by Gov. Bill Clements to the Texas Structural Pest Control Board in 1979 where he served as Chairman until Gov. Clements left office.
Funeral services for Elo will held tomorrow (Tuesday) at: Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Rd., San Antonio.
