PHILADELPHIA – FMC Professional Solutions, a business unit of FMC Corporation, announces it has received registration from the State of California approving Transport® GHP insecticide for indoor, non-food use.
Transport GHP is a broad label non-repellent product formulated for the treatment of a wide range of general pests, such as ants, cockroaches, springtails, earwigs and over thirty other tough indoor and outdoor pests.
“Pest management professionals (PMPs) in California have had impressive results with Transport GHP outdoors on Argentine ants. Now with the indoor label, PMPs are not limited to an indoor or outdoor product. They now have the versatility of a non-repellent product that transfers among ants, cockroaches, bed bugs, crickets, and other social insects,” said Ryan Weber, product manager, FMC Professional Solutions.
In California, the new indoor use label allows Transport GHP to be applied as a spot, crack & crevice, pinstream, coarse or low pressure spray applications, making it ideal for general pests such as ants, centipedes, cockroaches, spiders, roaches, fleas, ticks, flies and silverfish. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved Transport GHP for indoor use nationally in late December, 2008.
Available in convenient 0.3-ounce water soluble bags, Transport GHP is designed to help minimize measuring and pouring errors. This form of dose packaging also works to reduce technician exposure to chemicals. Plus, the low dose technology Transport GHP makes it an environmentally-responsible option, FMC reports.
