TUCSON, Ariz., and ORLANDO, Fla. — Truly Nolen team members across the country were looking to give back to their local communities while staying safe, so nearly 50 team members from the company's Tucson and Orlando teams recently donated blood to the American Red Cross Southern Arizona Chapter on July 21 and OneBlood Orlando on July 23.
Employees made appointments online and arrived at staggered times as part of this safe, socially distanced event. Employees also knew by donating they could show support to Truly Nolen's Tucson team member John Welsh, who is currently fighting Cancer.
Truly Nolen team members helped potentially save 104 lives with their donations, according to the American Red Cross and OneBlood. The company will continue to seek out additional opportunities to host safe, socially distanced internal blood drives, a spokesperson for Truly Nolen said.
