Orlando, Fla. — The 25th Annual Mascot Games, which took place on June 22-23 at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., marked the eighth straight year Truly Nolen has been a proud partner for this event.
Mascots from MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, ECHL, MLS, NASL and NCAA were divided into four teams as they competed against each other in various games. On Day 1, Team Yellow was led onto the arena floor by three Truly Nolen Mouse Cars. Day 2 was highlighted by the Truly Nolen Mouse Limo leading Team Yellow onto the arena floor complete with its new LED lights and Captain Fear creating a seat for himself.
Competitions included obstacle courses, dance contests and joust. Team Yellow won the balloon drop competition both days. Although Team Yellow was unable to win an overall championship either day this year, they hope to return to the winner’s circle in 2019.
In addition to on-site support, Truly Nolen was part of a #MascotGames Twitter conversation that made over 2,100,000 potential Twitter account impressions. All proceeds from the Mascot Games benefited New Hope for Kids, which provides support to children and families grieving the death of a loved one and grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses in Central Florida. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $500,000 for New Hope for Kids.
