TUCSON, AZ – Truly Nolen of America announced the recent promotions of Arnold M. Kaplan to Executive Vice President, George Lawlor to Director of Information Systems, Justin Bellet to Vice-President of Eastern Region Operations and Shane McManamy to Commercial District Manager.
Kaplan has been with Truly Nolen for over 23 years and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his new position. He has worked numerous positions during his tenure with the company, including sales inspector, branch manager, and district manager.
In 1999, Kaplan and his family relocated to Tucson, where he accepted the position of Vice-President of Finance, Information Systems, and Human Resources. Under his leadership, the departments have made drastic improvements in efficiency and functionality.
Kaplan is also an active participant in Truly Nolen’s management training program. He serves as a senior mentor to new branch and district managers where he guides, supports, and challenges them in all aspects of Truly Nolen operations. His professional growth, knowledge, experience, and sincere dedication to the mission of Truly Nolen made him an excellent choice for the promotion.

After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1994, Lawlor started his IS career at the ground level, running cable and troubleshooting basic computer issues at a local Tucson company. He is a seasoned professional with expert knowledge in security, network infrastructure, systems design and implementation, system upgrades and enhancements, and software development. Lawlor has managed several growing IS teams, including one with over 150 partners.
In October 2008, Lawlor joined the Truly Nolen team in his new IS leadership role. Hes has stated that he and his team are “busy re-inventing the department to help use technology to drive the company forward to meets its business goals, both strategically and tactically.” His information systems experience coupled with his people management skills make him a valuable asset to the company.
Bellett began his career with Truly Nolen in 2001 when he joined the company as a manager trainee in Florida. After completing the management training program, he became the manager of the West Broward, Florida location. During his time at West Broward, Bellett was able to achieve the highest net gain in the company. Due to his success, Bellett was promoted to manager of the Hollywood, Florida location. His hard work, drive, and dedication continued and helped him turn the Hollywood office around. He increased their general efficiency, lowered cancellations, and lowered the percentage of accounts not serviced. After two years in Hollywood, his hard work paid off and his office was recognized as the #3 branch in the company, qualifying Bellett for Truly Nolen’s coveted Annual President’s Club event.
Following his tremendous success in Florida, he was promoted to a district manager and relocated to southern Arizona. In Arizona, Bellett encouraged a high level of professionalism and quality from his managers and strived to create customer service oriented offices. He monitored and evaluated administrative staff skills, refined the practices of his technicians, and fine-tuned the presentations skills and knowledge of his sales inspectors. Bellett returned to Florida in 2007 as Florida and Texas Regional Manager. He’s had a significant positive impact on the culture and attitude of his districts by reinforcing his belief in Truly Nolen’s best practices and its overall mission. Bellett defines his mission as, “supporting and developing employees who care about the long-term health of our customers, while carrying out the company’s work”.
Bellett’s professional growth, knowledge of the industry, ability to effectively manage people, and his dedication to the mission of Truly Nolen demonstrate his readiness for the challenges of his new position.
McManamy received his degree in entomology in August 2005 from the University of Florida. In October of the same year, he joined Truly Nolen’s team as a manager trainee. McManamy gained tremendous field experience during his time in training. He worked as a pest control technician, termite control technician, and even a sales representative. Upon graduation from the management training program in May 2006, he accepted a position in Truly Nolen’s Sierra Vista location. He made great strides in efficiency and customer service. His success in Sierra Vista led to a promotion. In May 2007, McManamy accepted the management position in one of Truly Nolen’s largest and oldest branches, East Tucson.
In June 2008, he was promoted to assist district manager and responsible for guiding and mentoring the commercial offices in Arizona. His great success and strong level of dedication proved that he was the right fit for Truly Nolen’s commercial district. McManamy has a real appreciation for the industry and Truly Nolen’s mission. His education and industry experience make him an excellent choice to grow and lead the commercial offices.
