TUCSON, Ariz. – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Don Kitchens to manager of the company’s Orlando service office (2082 33rd Street, 1st Floor) and Leo Gomes to sales manager, Western region
Kitchens, who has 25 years of experience in the pest control industry, joined Truly Nolen in 2018 as a Manager-in-Training. Prior to joining the company, he served in a sales development role for three years with Bug Brigade Pest Control. Kitchens attended both the University of Florida and the University of North Florida.
Some of Kitchens’ new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Orlando community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team. “I really missed developing and leading a sales and service team, which is something I enjoy and have had previous success doing,” said Kitchens. “Working for this company is truly refreshing, no pun intended, because there is a sincere desire to provide an equitable work-life balance.”
“Don has always shown initiative in the performance of his duties, even going beyond what is expected of him in order to ensure our company delivers quality customer service,” said Alex Bello, district manager, Orlando, the Treasure Coast and the Palm Beaches. “We are very lucky to have him as a member of our Orlando team.”
Gomes’ office will be based at the Phoenix administrative office (2929 N. 44th Street, Suite #320) with a focus on the Arizona and California service offices.
Gomes has been with Truly Nolen for 23 years and was most recently the District Manager for Phoenix He has also been a Commercial Service Office Manager, Residential Service Office Manager, Lawn Branch Manager, and Commercial District Manager during his tenure with the company. Prior to joining the company, he spent three years in sales and shipping for a company based in New York City.
Gomes’ sales background and proven training skills within the company has him ready for the next challenge. “I am looking forward to helping build a stronger sales culture within this region,” said Gomes. “I know success could come to many more of our team members by building new relationships.”
“Leo will be working with our Arizona and California sales managers and service professionals on their sales techniques, knowledge, and skills,” said Justin Bellet, Chief Operating Officer. “I know he will be successful in his new role and I look forward to watching him develop his team.”
