TUCSON, Ariz. — Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Scott Gilman to manager of manger of the company’s Lakeland (Fla.) service office at 1023 S. Florida Avenue. The company also announced the promotion of Rick Rice to Manager of the company’s Chandler (Ariz.) service office at 150 W. Elliot Road, Suite 9.
Gilman joined the company as a manager-in-training in 2016. Prior to joining the company, he most recently worked in management with Home Depot over the past 13 years. Prior to that, Gilman spent 11 years in the pest control industry with Sears Termite and Pest Control.
Some of Gilman’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office continue to maintain visibility with the local Lakeland community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team. “I love working with people and helping them fulfill their full potential,” said Gilman. “I will build a team that believes in achieving goals.”
“Scott has a proven track record of being successful in sales, service, and management both in and out of our industry,” said Tim Phillips, District Manager, Central Florida. “I know he will be a tremendous asset to the entire Lakeland team.”
Rice joined the company in December 2016 as a manager-in-training. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, he spent 20 years in several different business industries including wireless sales management, package prototyping, and solar sales management. Rice is a graduate of Lake Forest (Ill.) College.
Some of Rice’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Chandler community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team. “I enjoy our company’s culture and look forward to leading my team,” said Rice.
