JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Turner Pest Control, an Anticimex company, announced the appointment of Kevin Poland as its new president. Poland steps into this role following nearly 15 years of leadership experience in the pest control industry and a proven track record of growth, operational excellence and people-first leadership, the company said in a press release.
As President, Poland will be responsible for leading Turner Pest Control’s strategic direction, overseeing daily operations and fostering a performance-driven culture rooted in innovation, empathy and service excellence. He will guide the company’s vision across sales, service delivery, customer satisfaction and team development – ensuring continued success across its expanding Florida footprint.
“Joining Turner Pest Control is an incredible opportunity, and I couldn’t be more excited to lead such a talented and driven team,” said Poland. “What drew me here was not just the company’s strong track record of growth, but also its unwavering commitment to people – both the customers we serve and the team members who make it all happen. I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place, empowering our teams to grow and push the boundaries of what great service and leadership can look like in this industry.”
Prior to joining Turner Pest Control, Poland served as president of American Pest, another Anticimex company also under the Anticimex umbrella, based in Maryland. During his tenure, he led the company through a significant phase of growth that included four strategic bolt-on acquisitions and a company-wide celebration of its 100-year anniversary. Under his leadership, American Pest strengthened its brand legacy, scaled operations and implemented structural improvements across its finance, sales and service teams.
He is an active leader in the pest control industry, particularly through his involvement with the National Pest Management Association’s Leadership Networking Council. He also served on the boards of both the Maryland State Pest Control Association and the Virginia Pest Management Association. Additionally, the appointment of Poland comes at a pivotal time for Turner Pest Control as the company continues to expand its reach and service offerings across Florida. His arrival aligns with several recent and upcoming acquisitions already underway, as well as the strategic divestment of the company’s fumigation division to focus on core service lines. These initiatives ensure Turner remains at the forefront of innovation, service excellence and market leadership in the pest control industry.
“We are pleased to welcome Kevin Poland as the new President of Turner Pest Control,” said Steve Nylund, president, Anticimex North America. “Kevin brings a rare blend of operational acumen and a proven track record of driving growth through strategic acquisitions and team development. His leadership style perfectly aligns with our vision for Turner’s next phase of expansion and innovation across Florida.”
