TACOMA, Wash. – Two additional team members from Sprague Pest Solutions, Jennifer Bowerman of the Tacoma, Wash., branch, and Matthew Drewes of the Spokane, Wash., branch, have earned their Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification. More than 12 Sprague team members earned their ACE certification in 2025.

The ACE certification, administered by the Entomological Society of America, is widely regarded as a leading credential in applied entomology. The certification confirms an individual’s demonstrated expertise in pest management through verified field experience, successful completion of a comprehensive examination and ongoing continuing education requirements.

Bowerman has been with Sprague for more than 12 years. Since joining Sprague in 2013 as a route manager, the company said she has become widely respected for her unwavering commitment to high-level service.

Drewes joined Sprague in 2018 as a route manager in Spokane. Sprague said Drewes has built strong relationships with his customers. He also recently took on responsibility for some of the Spokane branch’s most challenging downtown accounts, the company said.

“Seeing so many of our team members pursue advanced certifications like ACE makes me incredibly proud,” said Leila Starwich, director of people operations. “Jennifer and Matthew represent the curiosity and professionalism that define Sprague. Their achievements reflect not only their individual commitment to excellence, but also our belief that pest management is a growing, meaningful career where people can continue to make a real impact for our customers and communities.”
