SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — The University of California Riverside is partnering with Agri-Turf Distributing, LLC to present the UCR Fumigation School at the UCR Extension Nov 14. – Nov. 15, 2018.
The school will focus on all aspects of inspecting and preparing a structure for fumigation. The program also covers regulatory compliance issues related to structural fumigations in California. Dr. Michael Rust and Dr. Dong-Hwan Choe, both of UCR are among the keynote speakers. Attendees will also hear presentations from the California Structural Pest Control Board, the California Highway Patrol, industry professionals, and a panel discussion with representatives from the local County Agricultural Commisioner’s Offices.
The program has been approved for 11 hours of credit from the California Structural Pest Control Board, and 9.5 hours of credit from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. All proceeds from the event will benefit the UCR Urban Entomology Endowed Research Fund.
