The University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences is holding an open house on Wednesday. The department will explain how an entomology major can lead to vet school, med school, dental school or graduate school.
Students are invited to find out how the entomology major can lead to vet school, med school, dental school or graduate school. They’ll also hear from actual entomology students and take a tour of the facility and get answers to questions about transfer requirements and career opportunities.
The first 400 students will receive free tickets to the Butterfly Rainforest, Entomology Club sunglasses, and free pizza. If that isn't enough, how about cockroach races, cricket spitting, an arthropod petting zoo, bug songs and maggot art?
Steinmetz Hall is directly behind the Lacrosse Field, next to the UF Cultural Plaza, just off Hull Rd. BugFest Open House is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4. For more information, contact Rebecca Baldwin at 352/273-3974.
