AUSTIN, Texas — Univar USA recently announced several personnel additions.
Jill Ringgold has joined Univar as a Southeast District sales manager. Ringgold comes to Univar with more than seven years professional sales experience in the pest control industry. She most recently was with HomeTeam Pest Defense, where she held numerous positions including sales manager and district manager. Ringgold will be responsible for Univar's business in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina and will be based at the company’s Chamblee, Ga., location.
Richard Cruz has been hired as an outside sales representative for the San Antonio/Austin, Texas area. Cruz has been in the pest control industry for more than three years and has both worked for a pest control company and owned his own business.
Spencer Handy has been chosen as an outside sales representative for the state of Utah. He comes to Univar with two years of outside sales experience, two years of sub-distribution experience, 18 months of Univar warehouse experience and a bachelor’s degree in business management and economics.
Michael Newton has been hired as an inside sales specialist. Newton is a pest control industry veteran, with more than seven years of pest control experience with companies such as Sears, Terminix and Orkin. He will be responsible for providing service to customers in the northeastern part of the U.S.
Ben Rountree has joined Univar as an outside sales representative. Rountree comes to Univar after 10 years with Ecolab and more than four years of professional sales experience in the pest control industry. Rountree will be responsible for covering South Carolina and will be based at Univar's Greer, S.C., Pro Center.
