AUSTIN, Texas – Univar announced that Kurt Grade has been named Southeast District Manager. The company also announced the addition of Mike Leahy to Univar’s Public Health Team.
Grade was recently a PP&S District Sales Manager for the Southeast District. He joined PP&S in 2005 as a sales manager for what was then known as the Florida District. In his new position Grade will report to PP&S General Manager Trace McEuen. McEuen said, “Kurt’s successful tenure with Univar serves him well for this new position”.
Grade received his degree from Marquette. Grade and his family will remain in Tampa, Florida.
Leahy comes to Univar with 25 years of experience in the mosquito control industry. His most recent experience was as a technical Sales representative in the South East.
Leahy’s responsibilities will include direct Public Health sales in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. According to Blaine Oakeson, Univar’s Public Health Industry Manager, “Mike’s sales experience, enthusiasm and strong reputation will enhance our footprint in these markets. We are proud to welcome Mike to the Univar team.”
