AUSTIN, Texas – Univar Environmental Sciences announces that Erin Monteagudo has joined the company as technical content and training specialist, effective March 4.
Monteagudo comes to Univar Environmental Sciences from her position as entomologist/field supervisor with Bell Environmental Services, Fairfield, N.J. Prior to that, she was a technical specialist with Western Pest Services. Monteagudo is a Board Certified Entomologist and earned both bachelors and master degrees from the University of Florida. She will have responsibility for maintaining the company’s website, PestWeb, particularly as it relates to online training (Master Technician), and answering specific customer technical questions (Ask Mr. Pest Control). In addition, she will assist with insect and weed identification through further development of Pest & Weed ID.
“Univar Environmental Sciences has always been focused on providing our customers with useful educational tools,” says Karl Kisner, vice president of Marketing. As more of our customers flock to PestWeb seeking technical content, Erin will be instrumental in ensuring the success of that educational resource.”
