FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The University of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center announces open registration for the 2008 School of Structural Fumigation. Information and registration at http://conference.ifas.ufl.edu/fumigation/
This week-long course is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 with Florida state exams on Saturday November 22. In recent years, this course has been completely sold-out early. To qualify for the early bird discount, register by October 1.
The UF School of Structural Fumigation is the only program of its kind in the world. The passing rate for the State of Florida certification and SPID exam greatly exceeds that of the standard exam venue. Since 1989, over 800 students have attended this program from Florida, 16 other states, and from 19 countries. In addition to the regular program, the 2008 school will feature a bedbug fumigation, crane-assisted tarping, and a “blow open” demonstration.
