ORLANDO, Fla. — Last week at the annual meeting for UPF&DA, Tommy Reeves completed his two-year term as president of the organization. While completing any term is laudable, this was a challenging time for the association. Reeves' leadership and guidance was instrumental in establishing the future direction for the association and insuring his viability for many years to come.

“This was a critical time for UPF&DA,” said incoming UPF&DA President Tom Eichler. “After working for more than 15 years to establish UPF&DA representation on the NPMA Board, all the pieces finally came together. Tommy was an integral part of this achievement.”
Although Reeves has completed two years as president, he will now serve as immediate past president for UPF&DA, another important position on the Association's roster of leadership. Reeves represents a long commitment to UPF&DA through his own personal service as well as that of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Oldham, Oldham Chemical, one of the founding members of the organization.
Stepping into the role of President, Tom Eichler with Neogen will now carry the responsibility of presiding over the organization. Additionally, Karen Furgiuele, Gardex Chemicals was elected as Vice President and Dr. Cisse Spragins, Rockwell Labs was re-elected as Secretary/Treasurer.
Finishing their term, Dan Moreland (PCT magazine) and Wheeler Buff (Carolina PCO Supply) were thanked for their service to the organization. Dan was asked to serve another term on the board and Thomas Forshaw IV was elected to office. To fill the unexpired board term created with Ms. Furgiuele's election to vice president, Scott Riley with MGK was elected.
UPF&DA represents the suppliers and manufacturers as well as others who supply product and service to the pest management industry. It was founded in 1968 and works to provide a common voice for this segment of providers.
