KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — United Phosphorus, Inc. (UPI) has named Mark Merlo as its national ag strategic business manager. Merlo, who has been with UPI since 2002, brings more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience in the crop protection industry. He has worked with companies such as Union Collier and FMC Corporation.
Merlo will collaborate with marketing, field development, sales and regulatory teams to assist in delivering UPI’s overall sales strategy, and the development of products and solutions based on customer needs.
"Mark has been highly involved in the agricultural industry, and his considerable experience with the crop protection industry will help UPI strengthen our valued business relationships," says Jeff Allison, president UPI, North America. "We are confident that these changes will greatly enhance our flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the marketplace for UPI and our customers."
