PLANT CITY, Fla. — Keith Venning, Venning Pest Control, Plant City, Fla., figured out a way to camouflage a rodent bait station for a client.
Venning has a client with a law office in an old brick building located in Plant City, Florida's historic district. He wanted to do an exterior rodent monitoring program, but his client was not enthusiastic about the looks of the boxes (not wanting to portray a “rat infested building”).
Venning didn't think that boxes disguised as electrical boxes or landscaping rocks were the right fit either. His solution was to purchase an inexpensive roll of vinyl, self-adhesive wallpaper and wrap the boxes to blend in with the walls. He went online and "pretty quickly" found a close match, which he ordered and had in one day via Amazon.
