Versacor Named a 'Best Company to Work for in Texas' for 2020

The company also announced that Ryan Gates, total quality manager, is now an Associate Certified Entomologist.


DALLAS - Versacor Managed Pest Solutions was recently named one of the 2020 Best Companies to Work for in Texas for the third year in a row.

The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses. The 2020 Best Companies to Work for in Texas list is made up of 100 companies.

In other Versacor news, the company announced that Ryan Gates, total quality manager, is now an Associate Certified Entomologist.

The Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) is a program for pest management professionals with strong experience in insect-related work and whose training in entomology has been achieved through continuing education, self-study, and on-the-job experience. Backed by the Entomological Society of America, the ACE program has become the benchmark for professionalism in the pest management industry.

Gates joined Versacor in 2015 and was promoted to the position of total quality manager in January 2018.  He holds a Certified Applicator license in multiple categories in six states. As total quality manager, Gates manages Versacor’s overall quality program and conducts training of company personnel. In addition to providing initial service training to new associates, Gates maintains ongoing training of branch personnel, which includes all specialized certifications. Acting as the safety officer of Versacor, he also works to ensure a safe working environment for all associates and manages OSHA compliance for the company.
