BENTON, La. — A new TV series titled "The Exterminators" follows Benton, La.-based Vexcon, a company that controls a variety of pests including bees, raccoons, snakes and gators. The show premieres Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. (EST) on A&E. (Click here to watch video clips from the show.)
Vexcon is run Billy Bretherton, a former US Air Force Sergeant and a 15-year pest management industry veteran, and his family. A&E describes the show as a “funny family docusoap about the zaniest pest removal company on the planet, we join Billy Bretherton and his family members as they are called to take care of Louisiana's worst pest problems.”
Vexcon had previously appeared on “Dirty Jobs,” the popular series hosted by Mike Rowe.
