BOONTON, N.J. --- This summer while many of us will be enjoying the great weather, barbecues, and time with loved ones, one New Jersey pest control firm wants our troops to know that their efforts are so greatly appreciated.
“We all have our upcoming vacations and the great weather on our minds. But while we celebrate July 4th, let’s not forget those who have put themselves in harm’s way to protect the freedoms and values that we hold dear,” says Len Oppenberg, president of Victory Pest Solutions.
His company is launching fundraising efforts to help Wounded Warrior Project this summer. Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to "honor and empower wounded warriors" of the United States Armed Forces by raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women. WWP helps severely injured service members to aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
Victory Pest Solutions has launched a campaign called “Victory for Warriors” and they will be collecting funds directly on the Wound Warrior Project website and sending additional funds collected to WWP on July 4th.
For those who make donations WWP has provided bracelets, stickers, brochures, and other goodies. For more information, you can call Victory Pest Solutions at 1-855-299-PEST (7378) or donations can be made online at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/individualfundraising/
