In August PCT, consultant Paul Bello, owner PJB Pest Management Consulting, Alpharetta, Ga., discussed the use of thermal imaging (or infrared) technology for tracking rodent populations in the article High-Tech Rodent Control. Bello has used IR cameras in the field to videotape rodent populations as well as deer populations. The following short video clips are available for viewing.

Video 1 shows rats in an animal enclosure in a zoo.

Video 2 is of a deer that Bello videotaped from about 250 yards away.
