CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Volunteer Rid A Pest has made another acquisition in the Chattanooga market with the purchase of Chattanooga Pest Control Company. Chattanooga Pest Control was established in 1996 by David and Faye Jones.
“Mr. Jones has experienced some health issues and is unable to continue operating his business. We have come to terms and our management team assumed control of the day-to-day operations on August 1,” said Erik Gardner, Volunteer Rid A Pest CEO. “Mr. Jones has established a strong client base and Chattanooga Pest Control has an outstanding reputation in the Chattanooga market! We look forward to serving his clients and carrying on the high standard of customer service he has established.”
They now have a Chattanooga office located on S. Orchard Knob Avenue. This is the third company purchased by Volunteer Rid A Pest. Gardner acquired Polk County based Moore Exterminating in 2006, Chattanooga-based E/R Exterminating in 2013, and now has added to their Chattanooga market share with the most recent acquisition.
“Chattanooga Pest Control has a large footprint in Hamilton County and will fit exactly within our service boundary. Their client base is exactly what we need to increase our Chattanooga market share,”.said Gardner "We are pursuing other acquisition opportunities, as it is my goal for the company my father founded, Volunteer Rid A Pest, to be the dominant company in the Chattanooga/North Georgia market."
