SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — ChemTec Pest Control Corp announced the appointment of Mary Vongas as ChemTec’s President. Vongas succeeds Stanley Saltzman who will remain as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Vongas will be the third president for ChemTec since the company was founded in 1931 by Hyman Jacobson. Vongas has been with the company for nine years and brings more than 30 years of business experience with specialties in operational management and exceptional customer service.

In announcing Vongas’ appointment, Mr. Saltzman said, “Since Mary has joined our team we have dramatically improved our rate of growth and our customer satisfaction has hit the roof. This is a well deserved appointment. We know that she will steer our course to a great future.”
Vongas held operational positions in the telecommunications industry before joining ChemTec in 2003. In 2006, she was honored as the first recipient of the National Pest Management Association's Professional Women in Pest Management Scholarship Award and currently serves on the Board for the New Jersey Pest Management Association. She holds a Master’s of Science in Change Management from the College of St. Elizabeth with an undergraduate degree in Communications from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Throughout her business career, Ms. Vongas has also served as an adjunct professor and corporate trainer.
