Virginia Pest Management Association
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Pest Management Association (VPMA) started the new year with a new board of directors. At the Annual Meeting and Pest Fest on Dec. 8, 2021, VPMA President Dave Outhous (RichPro Pest Management) introduced the new board.
Outhous is joined on the Executive Committee by vice president John Reid (Accel Pest & Termite Control); secretary Shannon Harlow-Ellis (Mosquito Joe Corporate); treasurer Tony Sfreddo (American Pest Control); allied representative Jason Leonard (Forshaw); and national representative Greg Schmidt (Pest Solutions). The Executive Committee is made up of people who are board veterans.
Directors Charlie Church (Getem Termite & Pest Control) and Marie Horner (Arrow Exterminators) were re-elected to serve another two-year term, while directors Rahsan Mitchell (Mitchells Pest Control) and Aaron Owens (U.S. Pest Control) newly joined the leadership team. Mitchell previously served as the Central Virginia Pest Management Association liaison to the board.
The board is rounded out by directors Troy Wolfrey (PermaTreat Pest Control) and Mike Morris (Integrity Pest Solutions) who are in the middle of their two-year terms. In addition, there are liaisons from each local association in Virginia. Ray Mitchell (Mitchell Pest Services) represents Northern Virginia, Kristi Crutchfield represents Southwest Virginia, and Tom Mares (Mares Exterminating) represents Tidewater.
VPMA is excited to start the new year with a leadership team ready to move it forward in the provision of quality, accessible education; strong and timely regulatory and legislative advocacy; and far-reaching member benefits.
