ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- BASF announced that Richard Warriner has joined its Pest Control Solutions business as Eastern region sales manager, effective June 18, 2012. In his role, Warriner, who will be based in Raleigh, N.C., will manage the Eastern region sales team, help spearhead business strategy and oversee sales activities for the Eastern region.
“Richard brings a wealth of knowledge to our team,” said Jim Derbyshire, national sales manager, BASF Pest Control Solutions. “With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Richard’s technical, marketing and academic background is a great asset to both our sales team and our customers.”
Warriner has worked for BASF since 2004 and has held various positions including market development specialist for Pest Control Solutions, product manager for BASF Crop Protection and most recently, regional marketing manager, Insecticides. Prior to joining BASF, he served as a specialty field development and tech services scientist for Wellmark International.
Warriner holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science and master’s degree in entomology from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
