FORT WALTON, Fla. — Waynes Pest Control has acquired Southland Pest Services, a family-owned pest management company based in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The acquisition was announced by Kemp Anderson Consulting, which advised Southland Pest Services throughout the transaction.
Founded in 2000 by Jeff and Mary Rushing, Southland Pest Services built its reputation on delivering professional, courteous service at competitive prices throughout the Florida Panhandle.
“We quickly realized there was much more to selling the business than we had expected,” said Mary Rushing, co-founder of Southland Pest Services. “It was a huge relief to stay focused on day-to-day operations while the team at Kemp Anderson Consulting managed the sale process. Having Grant [Sinnott] with us on the day of closing was incredibly reassuring.”
The acquisition strengthens Waynes Pest Control’s presence in the region and continues its strategic growth across the Southeast.
