EAST GRANBY, Conn. - The National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA) recently honored Wildlife Control Supplies President Alan A. Huot by awarding his company the 2009 Industry Vendor/Innovator of the Year award at their recent membership meeting held in Indianapolis, Ind.
Dixon Herman, vice president of NWCOA, presented the bronze statue of a coyote to Huot at the awards ceremony and explained that the annual award is given to a business or individual that has displayed an unwavering commitment to the wildlife damage management industry through service, integrity, innovation, or other business practices that have enhanced or improved the industry’s ability to serve the public. He went on to say, after careful consideration, the awards committee felt that Wildlife Control Supplies, through its’ service to the industry, best exemplifies the spirit of the award. WCS was founded in 1998 by Alan Huot and his wife Carol with its’ primary purpose to serve the wildlife control professional market. Since that time, WCS has grown into one of the largest wildlife control and animal handling equipment distributor/manufacturers in the country, and continues to grow along with the wildlife control industry.
