The mild climate means plenty of year-round work for PCOs in San Diego. An article on Sign on San Diego noted that a trio of local companies — Lloyd Pest Control, Statewide Fumigation and Payne Pest Management — are on PCT’s 2010 Top 100 list.
The article notes that thanks to termites, pest control is big business for many small operators in San Diego County.
The presence of drywood termites in Southern California has been another reason for the success of these companies.
