Web-Cote Industries
HAMBURG, N.J. – Web-Cote Industries, a U.S. manufacturer of OEM and private-label glue trap solutions for the pest control industry, announced that Craig Martelle has joined the company as vice president of sales. Martelle brings more than 40 years of experience spanning chemical application, professional pest management, sanitation and manufacturing.
Martelle began his career in 1984 in the golf industry before transitioning into professional pest management, where he gained hands-on experience as a termite technician, commercial service technician and later in management roles.
Throughout his career, Martelle has worked across multiple facets of the pest control industry, including field service, sanitation, manufacturing and supplier support. As an IPM-focused sanitation professional in the food industry, he played a key role in implementing inspection procedures for incoming raw materials and maintaining strict sanitation and pest management protocols within highly regulated environments, said Web-Cote Industries.
Martelle later moved into the manufacturing and supplier side of the industry, where he supported pest management professionals through training, product education and sales development.
“Craig’s background gives him a rare, full-circle perspective on this industry,” said Susan Masciarelli, president and CEO of Web-Cote Industries. “Craig’s leadership, industry involvement and commitment to education align closely with Web-Cote’s mission and respect for the industry we serve. He understands the realities of the field, the demands of regulated environments and the importance of reliable, well-designed products. His expertise will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and strengthen our partnerships across the industry.”
A strong advocate for education and industry involvement, Martelle has taught continuing education (CEU) courses across the U.S. and internationally, said Web-Cote Industries. He is an active member of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), Pi Chi Omega and several state pest control associations, and has served on committees supporting industry advancement. He also holds a Commercial Applicator’s License covering wood-destroying pests, general pest control, commodities and structural fumigation.
In his role as vice president of sales, Martelle will focus on expanding strategic partnerships, strengthening national sales initiatives and supporting sustainable growth across Web-Cote’s professional pest control channels.
